I ordered these for my Aunt who was looking for red lights for her yeard for christmas and couldnt find them anywhere I ordered 5 and she needed 4 > good thing i got an extra becasue one didnt work but it all worked out in th end and she was happy and thats what counts.

The description for this bulb rates it for 10000 hours. However, when it arrived the packaging clearly rates it for 5000 hours.

The bulb works well, but this is still false advertising.

ps. I learned something new from the seller...the ratings are different for different voltages. The 5,000 hours is rated for industrial use at 130 volts. Normal household current is at 120 volts...at which the bulbs last an average of 10,000 hours.

I bought five of these for Halloween and Christmas lighting. I attached them to the Coleman Cable 05706 18/2 SJTW Green Floodlight Holder and placed them outside to light up the face of my house and it looks very nice.

Happy with these lights and they worked as we wanted them to work. Great purchase. We will see if they last to next season and of course if anything works after 12-21-12, LOL!!!

One of the 4 ordered bulbs did not work. The entire reason for shopping on line is to miss the crowds at the stores. Didn't work this time.
