I use this Greenlite bulb as a nightlight in a water resistant fixture in the goat shed. It's a great little light and 5 watts serves us very well. It's there without being "sunny", and the goats and the shed cats appreciate it a lot. It's on all the time and lasts easily a year, maybe three.
Amazon's price, however, deserves One Star! Bulbs.com is carrying this same bulb for $2.09 each (packs of five) with free shipping over $25.00. I'm pretty sure some others have it in the two dollar range, also.
C'mon Amazon! We expect more of you. Has the second generation taken over?A hard to find product without going to speciality store. I bought 3 bulbs for the price of one from speciality store.
