I have this LED bulb installed base-up in an enclosed outdoor light fixture. After two months of seven-day, all-night service it continues to work just fine. Unlike its CFL predecessor, it does not appear to be affected much by cold temperature (as low as upper teens F). To my eyes, the color temperature appears closer to 4000K, than 3000K.
