I cannot speak to the quality of the light (such as the green tint reported by one reviewer, etc.), because the lamp did not even fit the fixture. The pins are fine both in diameter and spacing, but the whole lamp is longer than a standard MR16 halogen lamp and thus did not fit into the fixture. I recommend the G7 Power instead:G7 Power G7MR16300WW 12-Volt Dimmable CREE LED MR16 Bulb with Bi-Pin Base, Warm White.

I just installed this to replace a 50 watt MR16 halogen in my landscape lights. It is comparable in color to the halogen. I bought a LED MR16 Spotlight 12V 4W (440 Lumen 50 Watt Equivalent) 7000K Cool 60 Degree Beam angle and it has a more unnaturally white appearance and is not as bright. I do like the white white light for other purposes so am not knocking the 7000K light. They are side by side spotting tall palm trees with some 20 and 50W Halogens as well on other palms. I go through the halogens pretty fast. Hopefully these LEDs will last. I just looked again and the color is quite nice and the illumination is excellent on 30-40 foot palms. 4 out of 5 because I have no notion of duration and they have to last to pay for themselves. I do like the reduced load on my transformer so I can add more lights.I have not had to do a thing for this bulb after 15 months beachside in Florida. I do purposefully get larger fixtures to accommodate the larger bulb size. I have had to replace multiple 20W bi-pin in the same time frame.
