I am extremely pleased with this purchase. This hammered bronze lamp is handsome and extremely sturdy, yet it unobtrusively blends with even traditional decor or antiques. Unlike incandescent bulb pharmacy lamps, the LED light strip leaves the shade cool to the touch so you can adjust the shade without burning your fingers. The description of this lamp in Amazon is wrong--the bulb is included and factory installed. While pricy, I believe that its extremely solid construction is worth it, especially since it is used in he middle of the room where it is more vulnerable to being knocked over. A truly 5 star purchase plus it is made in America!Great quality & bright light... Does not appear to have the ability to replace the LED bulbs (they are on a circuit board under the shade)... Good thing they should last a long time!
