My boys love Mickey, and I wanted an extra night light that might give my light sleeper some reassurance when he woke at night. He has the twilight turtle (that projects stars), but it goes off after a half hour and we go through batteries like crazy. This stays on all night for whenever he wakes and plugs in easily. My only complaint is that my boys want to play with it always but that's just an age thing I guess.

My daughters love these lights. We ordered three: space, Dora and Mickey Mouse. The Mickey Mouse images are more traditional Mickey Mouse most people in their 20s-40s grew up with (not the old classic from the 1920s, but also not the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse scale/style). My daughters still enjoyed it.

My three year old was having accidents through the night because of her fear of the dark. This light was the perfect addition to our window-less bathroom. She now knows that she has to get up and see Mickey when she needs to go potty at night time!
