Needed to mount our rope lights in our sunroom on the multiple vinyl sliding doors without making holes. Purchased some double sided foam tape and it worked perfectly.

The cheap clips that oftentimes come with rope light are horrible: They break and quickly become useless. Thus, this track mounting for our LED lights around the windows was very intriguing, especially after having to annually replace the little clips that become brittle as they are exposed to sun and cold. These mounting tracks worked splendidly for our application. We have used them around the garage and windows. I installed them last fall, so thus far, they have not yellowed, but I guess time will tell. Going around curves is a bit tricky, but it is doable. My only complaint was that they only came in 4' lengths, and thus, they add up in price very quickly. If these mounts end up lasting years and years without yellowing or going opaque, then we will be pleased.

One important note when purchasing, make sure your rope light is the correct diameter for the track. Also, when putting the rope light in in the track, do so with the LED lights on, so that you can keep the rope lights' LEDs all facing the same direction; helps the finished work look much more professional.
