After a month of daily use over our kitchen table, I can say we are very pleased with this bulb. It looks great alongside halogens, is nice and bright, it has a great dimming range (more gradual), instant on (beats the heck out of CFLs). Of course, we'd like a better price (the only reason for 4 stars, not 5) but we are DONE buying CFLs... as they burn out these will replace them.
