We ordered this light for our baby room and have no complaints! It comes with a cord that plugs into a wall, in case you don't have the ceiling hook-up in your room, which is a nice convenience, though it definitely wouldn't look as good with the cord running across the ceiling and down the wall to an outlet. We also have a Philips KidsPlace butterfly pendant light (which we purchased overseas before realizing we could get it off Amazon) which has been in use in another baby nursery for over a year now. Both lights reflect the quality of Philips...we love them and they are perfect for kids!
