Great idea, but the amount of light output is deficient. None the less I have one on my sleeping system and one in my EDC pouch.

This cord lock light is pretty nice, it's not as bright as a mini flashlight but it is a nice clean and bright light good enough to use to find what you are looking for in the dark. The best part is that you can just slap this thing on any of your current backpacks, or jackets and you've got yourself a nifty little safety light. The best part is, if you're running or biking and it's dark, you can throw this on your jacket and just set it on strobe. The only thing i wish this had was a choice of more colors. currently it's only available in yellow, but i'm hoping that they'll come out with an all black version, or even od green or camo.

Got as a gift. Upon first seeing it, it had turned itself on in the box. It turns itself on a lot, it turns out. It's easy to accidentally tap the button and then it stays on. It was dim when I got it, which could be from running down the batteries before I got it. To test it, i looked around for cr1220 batteries. They're pretty hard to find in stores, turns out.

The battery compartment is anything but watertight and the rubber cap smells bad. Long story short, I don't like it.

I a have not really used this yet other than initial unboxing. Seems like it would come through in a clutch. Three stars cause it's pricey for what it is.
