Not much to say except this thing is very, very bright, and the batteries last a fair while. I like to take it and a few extra batteries on camping trips to use as book light and flashlight.

I don't use it so much for clip-on-the book purposes as a flashlight to read by. It does need to be backed a little further from a book than the arm allows. However, it's such a compact thing that that's easy to do. The Amazon photo doesn't really show its versatility..

It's not waterproof. I wound up getting soaked, and this thing gave out instantly. Next time out, I'll use a baggie.

However, it can take a fair amount of dropping and banging and still keep working. (I'm kind of hard on my stuff.) An all around good product.

I find this booklight surprisingly poorly designed. It falls over unless you slide it over a HUGE number of pages. The lighting is NARROW and limited to just a selected area and is therefore ineffective for reading unless you want to keep moving it from section to section as you read each page. This item is poorest quality of any item that I ever ordered from Amazon. I will try instead to find another one just like my broken years-old booklight which has a great design, light weight, and easily lights both pages as I read.

Received these lights quickly. The 3 LEDs are bright enough to read by, as designed. Haven't owned them long enough to test battery life but used one on the day received as a flashlight in my dark yard. Good for close up work, 2-3 feet. Also not sure how the clip will hold up as it is plastic. The price was very competitive, plus received free shipping with my order. Only gave 4 stars because I haven't owned long enough to determine durability. My kids love them. They can now read without disturbing thier brother's sleep. I would recomend these.

This Optical Twin LED, battery operated, is sufficiently bright, however, it is to concertrated and have to continually move it around to read the pages.
