If you are looking for a lantern that is safe and easy to use then you will love this rechargeable lantern. It is easy to carry around in the house when the lights are out and can also be used like a candle to create a romantic glow. Since I have cats I can't light candles and leave them unattended. I only have one place in my house I can light a candle and I still have to be in the room to make sure the cats don't knock it over. So really I appreciate this lantern for its ability to light entire rooms. It easily provides light for the kitchen, living room and dining room which are all one big open room. To use this lantern you just tap your finger on the button on the front. Then you tap again for the lights to go off. If you want to have less or more light you just hold your finger on the button and it adjusts accordingly. I also liked that I could hang this light outside on my porch. It hangs easily from a hook.

This is a marvelous LED lantern for use indoors or outdoors that is just a great product. It is stylishly designed and it is very bright. You can adjust the brightness of the light with a very simple control. The light features a built in Lithium battery that can be recharged and it comes with a USB to Micro USB charging cable that you can use with your computer's USB port or any USB AC wall charger that you own. The light has a very nice price on it and my wife and I just purchased a package of 8 C sized batteries that cost as much as this light. This light has a built in 3000 mAh battery that can be recharged up to 500 times and the lantern will operate for 9 hours of continuous light when set at the brightest level. Based on the price of alkaline batteries you have paid for the lantern after you have recharged it 3 or 4 times and not had to use expensive throw away batteries in it.
This lantern is a fantastic light for camping, setting on the deck, sitting by the pool at night or for use during emergencies or power outages. The lantern contains 16 bright LEDs and it provides some serious light when you need it. I made a video of the light and it is bright enough to light up a room. It has a nice carrying handle on the top and a flip out hanger on the bottom that you can use to hang the lantern on a string, rope or on a tree branch. It has a simple one touch control button that turns the light on and off. If you press the button and hold it you can dim or brighten the light to any level from the brightest setting down to off. The outside of the lantern is a frosted lens that softens the light and makes it comfortable for your eyes without any glares.
It takes about 5 hours of charging time using your computer's USB port to get 9 hours of continuous operation. There is a LED on the side by the charging port and when it is red then plug in the lantern and charge it because the battery is low. When the LED is green it means that the battery is charging and when the LED goes out is means that the battery is fully charged. The charging cable is 40 inches long. The lamp is protected from over charging, over discharge and short circuit protection.
I really like this product and I think it is a great product. I strongly recommend it to you. I rate it at 5 stars.

You don't get that blinding huge light and you also don't have that weight or heat. The internal lithium battery is charged by a cord (40-inches) and takes about 4-5 hours if charged through your computers USB port. If you connect it to a USB DC adapter, it takes less. You'll achieve about nine hours of total lamp time before a new charge is required.The light is strong, but warm. The plastic covering is frosted to disperse the light from the 16 LED lights on the inside floor of the lamp. It has a wide base and also contains a hangar hook that fits in a groove on the bottom, so it can be hung just about anywhere. The button is `touch-sensitive', meaning you barley touch it to turn ON or OFF and if you hold it for 3 seconds you can actually adjust the brightness of the light. There is a power indicator light that shows RED if the battery is low and GREEN if when charging and it turns OFF when sufficient battery power is achieved.
To be fair, it is lightweight plastic and I am not sure how it would handle if dropped on concrete, but it also doesn't require gas or batteries. It's environmentally friendly. But it is light enough that you might even think about taking it camping or backpacking. Unit was supplied for an honest review.

This lightweight lantern-shaped LED light is a great idea. It can be used like a lamp on your nightstand, a safe nightlight for a child's bedroom, a desk lamp, or as a lantern that you carry with the built-in handle. It has three levels of lighting with just a light touch of the button. We keep ours on the desk, connected to our computer by a USB cord which charges the lantern.In our area, we have several lengthy power outages every winter during snow and ice storms. This is going to be so handy. Just grab the handle and carry it like you would an old-fashioned candle lantern. The big difference? No heat or flame. No danger. The directions say a charge will last 9 hours. We've never had to use it that long, but I can say the light has never died out while we've been using it.
This lantern will be so handy when we go camping next summer. It can be hung upside down using the attached hanger. It's safe to use in a tent or trailer and a great light to use as you make your way to the bathhouse in the middle of the night. The adjustable light level will come in handy for this as well. Overall a really smart design.
