This is a great lighting alternative. Quick and easy to install. I used these to add light to curio cabinets where the light from the top did not penetrate the 3 or 4 shelves below. The only real complaint would be that the connection leads were too short ( about 12 inches ). Had to use 2 connectors to bridge the gap between the shelves. On one of the 8 cabinets I had to splice together a lead to try to hide the wires. Don't try to use the self sticking tape provided since it won't hold the lights up.
If you are using these for counter lighting under cabinets then there shouldn't be a problem using the screws and hardware provided.
The life expectancy on these should be several years.
