A terrific, economical light source. BUT be aware that the shape of the bulb is not the same as other Sylvania PAR20 led lamps, nor is it the same as the incandescent bulb it is intended to replace. The 'shoulder" on the finned body conflicts with some lamp heads, like Halo single-step cylinder L732, L733. Because of the shoulder, the bulb can't be screwed into the head. Guessing the shoulder = more fin area = better cooling, but if you can't connect ??!?
A "medium to medium" socket extender like Satco 92-323 Medium to Medium Phenolic Extender Socket 1 in. Extension allows the bulb to screw in, but brings it well forward into the cylinder, thus not so well shaded from view.We are using these bulbs outside in South Florida; they have been working well for over a year now with our heat and humidity; a bit on the pricy side, but you get what you pay for!
