I use this flashlight for detecting leaks in automotive air conditioning systems the UV lights available through most tool companies are 2-3 times the price and aren't half as bright. A/C leak detection dye that was just barely visible with the Snap-On/Mac/Matco brand UV lights stand out like it was lit with neon.

Do be careful with it, it puts out enough UV light that it's actually visible in shaded areas.

I just checked the specs on the ultrafire model WF501B (which is what this is) and it is rated at 395nm, not 365nm. Also there is a dark doughnut hole in beam, current is not well-regulated, makes a whining sound on medium and gets very hot. Sorry no sale.

This is a very high quality UV light and it works perfectly. I use it with Sirchie clue spray and clue powder which requires this specific wavelength to fluoresce, and this light does a great job.
