I was hesitant to purchase and curious what level of difficulty the installation would be. The new signal install took half the time as the old signal removal. I think Yamaha should use these signals. Some reviews I've read mentioned needing to slow the blinking down but I have not experienced this problem. They do not sit flush with the fairing but are very low profile, especially compared to stock signals.
