I can't speak for the longevity of the product since I have only used it for one day, however based on my limited experience I am pleasantly satisfied with this produce. Comparing it to the existing 3W LED I have in my backyard, this one is definitely brighter and has a farther "throw". The diffusion of light is nice as well, not like a spotlight (which was my fear due to the shape of the smooth reflector).
Update after a month of use:
I use this to light a tree in front of our home and i noticed that water had gotten inside the light (from the sprinklers), so i don't thing this is exactly an "underwater light" as described. lucky, there wasn't enough water to cause damage so i unplugged the light and let all components dry (the bezel screws off for access to the LED housing). Once dried, i reassembled all components and added silicone sealant to the edges where i suspect the water had leaked.
I am planning to replace 4 existing 3W LED units with 4 of these 10W units, i can definitely notice the different in output and radius of diffusion (the 10w having a wider and stronger light beam).
