I am happy to report that Macy the Dinosaur Nightlight is better quality than I expected.

It's made of durable material, gives off a nice yellow/ orange/ and red glow, comes packed in a clever display box. It's a bit pricey, but worth it, I believe...so I ordered a second one as a gift for the son of my mother's caregiver. Recommended.

We had a problem getting this to work. The batteries didn't seem to fit well with the contacts and my husband had to fiddle around with it. Finally got it to work and it's a very nice source of light for middle of the night feeding and diaper changes for our soon to come baby boy. I'm sure he'll enjoy chewing on it later on as well :)

Provides enough light to do diaper changes in the middle of the night and to check on baby's swaddle. It has annoyed me on multiple occasions, however, because it does not always turn on when tilted, and sometimes it turns off on its own. I don't regret the purchase, but I might research other night lights if I want to buy another light in the future. The auto shutoff is useful, and it's cute in my baby boy's nursery.

You're suppose to activate the light by shaking the dinosaur gently from side to side. It took me a while to get it to light up for my 5 year old who is afraid of the dark, and it kept going out. It's suppose to stay on for 30 minutes at a time but it doesn't work. And its overpriced for sure!
