I am not an avid internet shopper so I was a bit nervous to buy these fans. I was worried about damage but was very impressed when they arrived as the fans were packed very well and they were in perfect condition. My husband was able to easily install them with no challenges and they have been a huge savings in our utility bill as they really move some air. For the price these are amazing fans that I highly recommend. We have three in our home now and are thrilled with this purchase. From the description "Requires four medium base 40 watt incandescent bulbs"So I purchased some really nice medium base golden amber Vintage Antique Light Bulbs Edison style. I received the fan last night and it only accepts "candelabra" type bulbs which is really annoying! I don't even like the word, "candelabra."
