They light and are very energy efficient. They won't heat up the room, which is important when you have a fixture that holds a lot of them. But you can't use these in a formal dining room. The base is this ugly plastic white thing with the brand name in readable letters and, well, I had to take them down after ten minutes. At the price, they should look fabulous. Maybe I'll use them in window candles at some hard to reach place. You could probably see them from your house when I do that.
