The picture shows a "female" type of plug, but what you get is a "male" type of plug. Which means it cannot be used for what the description says (connecting an LED strip to a power adaptor). The item number on the package matches the description, so I'm not sure if the description is wrong or if they made a mistake when labeling/packaging the item. The connector that you get can be used for daisy-chaining one LED strip to another, but that's not what I needed (and not what description says).

I soldered the conection. it made for a cleaner job.

if you cant solder use these but you will need the other end of the connector

I bought these for an installation for one of my customers. I was going to have to run wires all around the cabinets in a kitchen and connect to the strips under each set. I ended up cannibalizing the units to use in the installation. I cut one set to allow using the receptacle end to plug the power supply into. I tried the strip connector but I wasn't impressed with the durability of that connection so I soldered the wires on instead.

If I do it again, I won't bother buying a set of these.

Excellent accessory for DIY. I bought 2 kinds of EVER connector together.

I connect two EVER strip with the connector. Work very well. I find other review write it does not work. It may only work with EVER LED strip. Good.
