MR 16 LED lamps are an ideal money saver. The price are very good compared to local vendors. About a third of the price of the lamps sold by local gougers and they are equal if not better. Ideally these should be used in long hpurs of operation to realize the best savings

I bought a dozen of these lights to replace some 50w halogens. The light output on these bulbs was very close in brightness, but the color was not great. Some of the bulbs were okay, but most had a sickly yellow/green tinge to them not at all what I would call 'warm'. One positive note though, like the original halogen bulbs, these lights cast light 'backwards' toward the base, something I hadn't seen in other LED MR-16 bulbs before.

Worked great for 4 months color and brightness were both good, and fit well in my track light but then it died. Dimming was acceptable, but at low levels it did start to flicker.

I used these to replace 20W and 40W MR16 halogens in my pathway lights. I have a very long cable run of 300 ft. and these work much better than the halogens. LEDs are more tolerant of voltage drop than halogen, making them perfect for my application. These bulbs are consistently (very) bright from the first fixture on the line to the last. Color is a nice white that isn't too yellow or blue.
