After first day lamp began to flicker. Found dead after around three weeks.

Color temperature was actually quite good. Only a discerning eye could detect a color

difference from quartz.

I ordered a few of these to test the LED color compared to the existing MR16 incandescent bulbs and the 3500k option is almost an exact match. The point of using LED is not only for the low power consumption (~4w vs. 20w) but the bulbs will last longer. As for the light output compared to the 20w this bulb is just slightly dimmer, almost not noticable. In the application I am using these for (accent lighting) the light output is not an issue.
