Currently this is the _only_ option to put a timer in a single-gang combo switch box, problem is it's meant for legacy loads. It doesn't utilize a neutral connection, so in order to power itself it has to run a small current through the load (to complete the circuit) which will damage most CFL or LED lights (dimmable or not), and it even has a minimum dimmer wattage of 40w (says in the instructions). It also might not work with some newer bathroom fans (it could overheat them and run them at half speed).

This is outdated tech. Soon you won't even be able to buy light bulbs to work with this switch. Save your money and do the extra work to cut out the single-gang box and replace with a double-gang, and get a modern timer that uses a neutral connection and a solenoid switch which will work with any load.

I wanted a timer for a bathroom fan and was limited to existing 2gang box. An over/under configuration with one a timer is not easy to find. An added benefit is the ability to have the single click for the light to only go to partial brightness...nice for middle of the night trips...a double click will immediately go to full brightness.

Does exactly what it is designed to do. I had heard somewhere that you should run your bathroom fan for three times the length of your shower...but i am out the door two minutes after my shower, hence a need for the timer. The light switch gradually brings the light up to full brightness, which seems easier on my eyes first thing in the morning.

I replaced a double switch with this one. Went in with no problem...same depth as old switch, which is amazing considering it can do so much more. I really like the timer feature. Very happy with this purchase. :)

Got this product as a replacement for a Hampton Bath Fan/Light with stacked switches to control each independently. Disconnected the original switch assy (three wires plus gound) and installed this product in ten minutes. The timer switch will save a lot of electricity and pay for itself within a year.
