Be aware that this item does not include a plug and requires the additional purchase of a transformer. Its somewhat ambiguous in the description, and the title states this is a kit, but is actually more like a part! Anyway it caught me off guard.

I have 5 of these puck lights installed under my cabinets and the light they give off is very bright which for me is a good thing. The distance between the light is also a challenge for me based off of where the lights needed to go and the fact that I only had one power source so all of these puck lights had to fit on the same transformer which they did. I have the transformer plugged into a remote light switch and it works great.

The only con I have is that after 3 months of use the light bulbs (being halogen they get very hot) would not sit correctly in the light. If I take the cover off and wiggle the light it works for a while and then goes off again. I had to purchase a new one and so far so good.

We have had these lights for over 10 years and one recently broke during a move. We were very pleased we could find one that matched the rest. These lights are great. We have them on a dimmer and they are very responsive.

I bought these because a customer already had some and a few of them needed to be replaced. The connectors to the bulbs are poorly designed and after a few times of taking out and putting in the push in type bulbs, the connection becomes very iffy (technical term). When they work, you do get a lot of concentrated light. I would rather spend more money and get a different type of under cabinet lighting.
