I converted the 14 to a 12 and it worked. They are very light weight.I would use them for led or fluorescent only because I am not sure
they could take the heat otherwise..

Ordered some candelabra led bulbs online and didn't pay much attention to it that has a E14 base and it wont fit in US candelabra base which is E12. This E12 to E14 worked like a charm and was able to use those led bulbs and saved my money.
