The lights aren't too bad overall with a couple major exceptions:

Unless you know that they used the wire leading from the last light to the battery pack to tie a KNOT around the bundle of lights, you will never get the lights untangled. Carefully undo the knot by feeding the battery case through the loop, and you can get the lights untangled. The knot was a REALLY bad idea. A simple twist tie would have been much better.

Also, a few of the stars fell off the LEDs. A dab of clear silicone would have prevented that.

The lights work fine and are attractive but every time I try to do something with the string they get caught on themselves. THe points and fairy wings get hooked and while trying to GENTLY unhook them I pulled the wires out of one of the stars. If you want them, buy them but be aware that they are not easy to move around.

Wonderful! Especially for the price! I bought these to light up the outside of my tent when I went camping with friends and there was never a doubt as to which tent was mine! I protected the battery pack from rain and it worked wonderfully. As other reviews have stated, it does go through batteries fairly quickly I was able to use mine for about 12 hours before fading but I think it is completely worth it for the amount of light you get and how nice they look. Also, I use rechargable batteries, so it works out just fine. I plan on getting more to gift to my camp mates. :)

These are really cute. I took away a star because since they are battery operated, the battery pack is heavy and can be a nuisance when you are trying to hang these up. worked fine for me because I was not hanging them.

I plugged it in once and it worked. When I moved it to the venue for the party they did not work. Lousy construction. I should have known better made in China, but I thought how can you screw up something simple?
