I have a few different MR16 LED bulbs. One of them is from Home Depot, the Philips product they carry. It's about $22, 3K color temp (verified next to halogen), but it's not dimmable.
Next is a $25 Philips from Home Depot (10W LED). It has a 3K color temp and is dimmable.
The LightKiwi is OK, but the color temp is definitely higher than 3K. There's no hint of blue, but next to a 3K halogen, this is probably 4K. Brightness on the wall was slightly less than halogen.
Overall, I think I'll stick with Philips for a few $ more as they can co-exist alongside halogen undetectable (brightness and color temp).
Update APR 2013: I removed the light to look at the markings and when I tried to push it back in, the pins pushed into the housing. I pulled them out with pliers, but they are so loose I can't plug the bulb in any longer. Not bad at all. I always have my wife do a blind test to see which one of the lights is the LED. In this 3rd test of landscape, the lumens were equivalent to what we had and she couldn't tell by color or brightness. Good product.
