I purchased the double pack... not a strong light from the flashlight.. you must hold hand over sensor to use. Once charged the night light wouldn't go out until it was plugged in upside down.sensor is poorly positioned. I tried to return but they want 20% restock fee which I thought was unfair.... maybe the next generation will be better.

I searched very hard to find the best quality back up light for a good price. This one is the hands down winner. I was not looking for a night light, but it does make sense for saving power in a power outage. if switched to the on position the night light will stay on and is bright enough to help you get around. It is only one LED and it probably would stay lit for a week with only one light on. when switched to auto, the night light comes on when it is dark and you have power, and if the power goes out then the emergency lights only come on if it is dark. all good for making the light last longer in a power outage.

I read a lot of reviews for many lights, and the biggest complaints apply to this light as well, if the photo sensors continue to work, then that is a plus, we will see. The biggest problem of all is not being able to replace the battery. I opened one of the units just to see if it was possible to replace the battery. It could probably be done, but not worth the effort, everything is hard wired, and the case does not come apart easy, so esentaily these things are probably ready for the trash within a couple of years.

This company has a lot of potential, these are still the best lights for the money, but they waste a lot of money by giving you a light stand and a neck strap for carrying the lights around. these lights will stand on there own no need for all the extra packaging and gadgets that you don't need and are probably paying for. They should make the battery accessible and replaceable, then this light would be a true winner and better than all the rest.

I tested it soon after getting it and it worked. I then tested about four days later and the charge light did not come on, and it did not work as a power failure light. It still works as a rechargeable flash light if it is actually charging even though the light doesn't come on and it works as a night light.

I was wary of ordering the night lights because of some bad reviews. However, needing emergency night lights I took a chance and ordered one set as a trial to see if there were any problems. The first set worked so well that I ordered a second set of two lights. They are unobtrusive and sufficient as night lights and shine brightly when power is lost. Unfortunately, Florida "the land of power outages", has given us many opportunities to test them and they work as advertised. It has been some time since my order and all the night lights I ordered are still doing their job.

I bought three of these in case of a power outage , I thought they would be ok. Was I ever wrong , I had a power outage the other night and these lights kicked in and lite up so bright that I didn't need a flashlight on the side of the house I was in. When the power came back on they went out and recharged so they are ready for the next (I hope it doesn't happen) outage. In addition the night light is nice and give enough light so your not bumping into anything on the way to the restroom etc. Oh my I forgot , no more hunting for a flashlight for unplug one of these night lights and bingo you have the brightest and most useful flashlight. I was so impressed with this product that I just ordered 3 more for the other side of the house. How many nightlights do you know that have a 5 year warranty. NOT!!!! You definitely will love these lights in an emergency and just for a quick need of a flashlight!!!
