I was skeptical but i bought a bulb for my lamp post in the front yard. I screwed it in and turned it on for the first time and was slightly disappointed. It seemed very dim. I walked away and took care of other things and when i returned, the bulb had brightened to full brightness (which happens immediately now when it turns on and never dims). It lights up the entire front yard and puts out much more light than the old CFL that it replaced. And the light color output is very pleasant, as well. I have to buy more!

This is the worst rated in its category 51 of 100 mainly for lack of brightness. It has 360 lumens , that would be sub par in the 40 watt group.

I have had excellent luck with this product. I bought 12 of them and have installed 8 over the past 8 months..All working well. Illumination a bit different and needs some getting used to. If they last as long as advertised, I expect about 15 years of use on average.

This was my first attempt on an LED purchase. I did not know enough to understand what the 5000K rating was and purchased this light based on being CLEAR and 60 Watt equal. I am very dissapointed with this bulb. It is dark, causes shadows, has a BLUE tint and is hard on the eyes. I have moved it three times, to three different locations trying to find some place to use it. We have settled on the garage door opener housing. The bulb is NOT very bright, causes many shadows and is not a pleasing light no matter where I put it. I'll leave it in the garage door opener housing because the bulb will withstand vibration and this location does not require much light. The BLUE color does not matter it's the garage (who cares if the light is BLUE). I would not buy this light again. I've since purchased a 2700-3000K clear LED from Infinity and will rate that one separately
