Purchased this bulb from Walmart for about $10 cheaper than on here. We have 8 canister lights in our kitchen that all use 65w... I was worried that this was going to be weak compared to the others... boy was I wrong. This light is very crisp and warm. We are going to replace the who set with these now. They are guaranteed for 6 years and supposed to last up to 13 or more years. Hopefully, I won't have to write another review for at least another 10 years.

I bought these at Wal Mart for $20 each on clearance. I have six of these mounted over my aquarium. The 3000K temperature gives a good light and the LED's impart that slight shimmer on the rocks and sand in the tank that sunlight would make when wind blows over the surface. First let me open by saying we have owned these LED par30 short necks for 2 years. These bulbs are supposed to last 25,000 hours. Not for us. 7 out of 9 bulbs have permanently dimmed to about half brightness all within 5000 hours of use. Yes they still operate but of course need to be replaced. They look great with their swirling plastic heat sink, however I suggest trying an alternate manufacturer. Also we have noticed several retail chains have pulled this item from their shelves recently. Think twice.
