Fairly compact, bright flashlight. Uses 18650 batteries that are high capacity rechargeables.

Has several modes, which makes it nice to get the brightness you want.

I wish there was a way to skip the strobe modes when trying to set the brightness.

OK I own quite a few Ultra fire lights and the adjustable zoom 7W 600W cree SA-013 led is the brightest light I have from them. It will easily light a FOCUSED beam of light 200 YARDS away and I love those lights. These WF-501B on the other had are NOT that good, they are ok but NOWHERE near the brightness of my other lights that are rated at 600LM. I should have picked up on the fact that the title says these are 1000LM but the description says 900LM?

Either way they are built as well as my other lights, a little smaller than the SA-013 but a nice fit in the hand, rear push button control ( light tap switches light modes BRIGHT/LOW/STROBE/SOS ) and strong aluminum case BUT these only have a useful beam for 50-75 yards AT THE MOST anything SHORT OF that they light up the area pretty good PAST THAT FORGET IT they are just washed out light.

If you just want a light for short distance BRIGHT light these are good for short range and close quarter combat lighting but if you are looking for a light to search the night PASS on these, for long distance lighting they suck ( no better way to put itI am really disappointed in them for that ) .

Not worth returning them though as I can always use a SHORT range decent light and for that these are ok.

REALLY disappointed in Amazon saying these are rated as 1000lm or even 900lm though because they are NOWHERE near that, for those that posted how bright these are? get a SA-013 and learn what BRIGHT is with that light you own the night, heck you can even use those in the daytime and see them EASILY.

There's nothing not to like about this light, it works well and is very bright. I never want to go back to using AAs and AAAs to power my flashlights!

i purchased several of these for each of my family's cars. they have a really nice strong beam and i like that you can adjust it to a dimmer setting. I haven't had a use for the strobe yet (other than annoying people with it!) however it's nice to know it's there. i change out the batteries once a month (even if i dont use them) just in case. At the end of the month, they still have a very strong beam. not sure how long it stays on for but they always seem to be doing well when i need them!
