Pretty easy to install and emits an excellent amount of light for solar. Does not illuminate a large area, just mainly what it is shinning down on. The light came with one AA battery but there is compartments for two AA batteries not sure if that is for back up or if the light will be brighter if you use two???? Need to try it out.

I bought three of these and they provide decent soft light. I would say if you want a lot of light, get six, but it does help brighten up enough for what my needs are wanted to see better at night on the patio and don't have to leave the patio porch light on and attract all of the moths! Have had them on since spring and they were easy to install and are still working great!

NOTE: Yes there are 2 battery compartments, but only ONE is wired to be used. If you put another AA battery in the spare slot, nothing happens, as there are no electrical connections to that compartment! If yours does not work, make sure the battery is installed properly on the side with metal contacts and turn on the ON switch!

I LOVE these solar lights ! They clip PERFECTLY to that white plastic lattice work as well as gutters to put light exactly where we need it for added safety and security. I am very very pleased, so much we've bought 5 and I returned to buy a few more!

I highly recommend and will certainly buy again (since I am now!) the LED light is brighter than most solar path lights and lasts longer as well as long as the solar pad is in the bright daylight for a reasonable portion of the day.

Not one of my favorite products from amazon. The brackets does not fit on the light very well and the light does not come with the rechargeable batteries needed to run light. Would not not buy again.
