Alright, its a cheap flashlight. I shouldn't expect that much, and I didn't here's whats wrong. When fully zoomed in spot light mode the Lens does not round the light output from the LED at all so you have a square patch of light. The zoom mechanism has no way of locking. The mode cycle starts from the beginning each time you turn the light on. The adapter for the battery is too small and therefore shakes around ( I wrapped some duct tape around mine quiets it.
