Purchased this to use as over the cabinet "accent" lighting after researching a number of LED strips/panels. For the price I decided to try it as other kits sell for well over 5x this unit. Installation was a snap...drilled a hole on the top cabinet so the unit can be plugged into the over the range microwave's 110v outlet, secured the rope with heavy duty double sided tape along the wall/edge of cabinet top and finally put a manual switch in-line with the outlet. Although the light output is not bright enough to use as a primary light source, the output is very even and makes a nice light when it's dark and you just need to get things without turing on all the lights. Overall very pleased and have received numerous questions and accolades on the overall look. They do have "warmer" color temperature ropes that may match flourescent or incandescant lighting but I like the accent of the whiter light which is noticeable with other lights on.

Basic rope lights. Pretty bright and sturdy. I haven't used them extensively but they've been good so far. I would purchase again.

I used these lights in my backyard for a party. They produced a great amount of white light. I only wish i would have purchased more than one, because although it says 10 ft. i dont believe its 10ft of lighting, maybe more like 8 ft???

Overall, i am going to order 2 more because the lighting was great.

I thought "pure white" was a good color, but it turned out to be "too white"!

For lighting a row of glass block, the "soft white" looks better.

The photo's in the Orange Tree Trade website are accurate enough,

and we were happier with soft white than pure white. Thanks!

Order GTN number: Couldnt use it. needed to replace it with a battery powered one, but when i tried to return it they wouldnt let me saying it had passed the time to return. 30 dollars down the drain!! 1012166665604785
