This will certainly come in handy. Very convenient to bend it around things, like your neck, wrist, door knobs whatever and point it toward whatever needs some extra illumination. Even works over your ears like comfy headlights. Neat!
It takes 2 AA batteries. The 2 multi-switch buttons cycle each pair of lights through 4 different settings. Honestly, full blast is all I'll ever be using; the other lighting options just aren't functional for my purposes.
Nice light. Good versatility. Seems durable. Plenty bright for 4 LEDs. Not too expensive. It's a Hug Light what's not to love!?!? Happy! ;oD

I bought this light for reading, and am happy with it. I found another use for it. If you have an elderly family member, it's great to put around their neck in the evening. If they forget to turn on their hall light, they still have a light to see. It gives extra light for people with failing eyesight walking around. The battery lasts a long time too.Best Deals for Hug Light Flexible Book Light, Hands Free, Flexible, Led Light
I love this light and wish it had been around decades ago. I love to crochet in bed at night, but my hubby is trying to sleep so I can't have a big light on. I wear this around my neck and aim it right at the yarn and my hands and it's fantastic. I can also use it to read my Kindle (It's an old one no paper white feature). I even use them in the living room if it's a cloudy day and I need more light. I know these would be great for working on small crafts and for kids to do stuff by at night on long car trips. I can't recommend these enough. Love them!Honest reviews on Hug Light Flexible Book Light, Hands Free, Flexible, Led Light
I was really excited about this product because I do a lot of needlework and knitting and almost always never have enough light. I saw that Good Morning America had reviewed it on their program and they had given it high marks and praise.Maybe for the purpose of reading a book, it might be ok, but for my needs, it did not fit the bill. The angle that the light sits while around my neck is not directed correctly at my needlework or my knitting. I would have to hold the needlework or knitting up under my chin at breast level in order to get the light to hit right where I need it. Not a comfortable position if you do the pose.
So my search for the perfect light continues.
