I do not own this product yet but when researching it online I found the wattage to be listed as 0.72W. around the web it does not state if each side has a brightness like many do, example the LED maglite you can buy it states 3 watt which is similar to a 40 watt light bulb. Plus many of you are thinking the same thing, if it lasts 20 hours it probably isn't very bright
