I have used this device for four days a week since I purchased it. It works so well. I use it under a large glass vase and it is much more noticeable. There's so many different light functions; you can make it match many themes.
My one complaint is that it switches through colors so quickly on the "rainbow" mode that it is hard to appreciate every single color. Also maybe next time they will make one that looks like candlelight.
Otherwise it's really great and I highly recommend it.
