These are very good replacement bulbs. They are as advertised for fixtures using GU10 connectors and 50W lighting.

The bulbs were individually boxed and put inside a larger box by saturn products. They were packed and shipped in another box by Amazon. I dropped the box as I came in the door. None broke and all six bulbs work fine. (Whew!)

Note: Since there are several sellers listed on the product page; I purchased these as Fulfilled by Amazon (Prime) supplied by "saturn products".

The price is good, don't think I can find any better. The sad part is not the price, it is that these bulbs are advertised to last 2 years and nobody mentioned that the 2 years comes so early. I will continue to use this light system and bulbs for a time yet just to justify the cost of the fixtures, after that, I will change the fixtures and get away from this type of bulb altogether.

I made the mistake of installing a really cool looking light fixture in our bathroom remodel that takes these bulbs. They go out on a regular basis. I have tried several different kinds and they all blow out very quickly. I guess that is just the nature of halogen bulbs in a confined space that generates a huge amount of heat.The bulbs from Amazon are no better or worse but Amazon makes it easy to find and order them so I always keep a stock of several on hand. I guess I am rating the bulbs 5 stars because of the company behind them, Amazon. The fact that I was a 5 star idiot because I was attracted to the light fixture in the first place is not anyone's fault but mine. The bulbs are a horse of a different color.Good luck and before I forget, try not to touch them with your bare hands as you will leave a print mark which contains oils from your body and greatly shortens the life of them. Use a glove or sock over your hands to protect the bulbs.

I bought 6 of these bulbs as they generally don't seem to last long as we use CFLs in the rest of the house. We lost one the first night, but the others have been working so far per usual. We like the bathroom fixture we have them in otherwise I would get rid of the fixture and bulbs.
