I got two of these to replace two broken ones at home. The quality of aluminum is bad as the securing knob breaks easily. I expected better quality for the price.
The lamp rings are not secure enough and with time water will get inside. The glass quality is also not that great and slips from the top cover burning the bulb so often.

You only get what is pictured. You will need to pick up a box and top cap, a rocket post or a gard-n-post (my favorite). I knew this from other reviews and still a good buy for under $20. Dark bonze is accurate to the true color. Seams like a good seal on the weather proof lens, which slides on and off easily but seals nicely. A bit tough for big hands to change bulbs as the narrow bulb recedes down in a bit. If you take your time to get bulb lined up just right it will thread in pretty easy, I would not suggest over tightening, as it may be hard to unthread. The Sylvania bulbs I picked up (14502 50 watt par 20 narrow flood 30 degree and a 14500 50 watt par 20 10 degree) have ridges around the outer edge which proves to be a huge plus with this fixture. Overall I like it and is very low profile. I mounted it about 4 feet in front and at ground level to illuminate a fountain and it works great and is barely noticeable compared to some models I looked at. With the 30 degree bulb lights up the 27" wide and 36" tall fountain very well and a little spills left and right on the rock garden. Has stainless screws to lock in vertical adjustment and on the rear to hold in the socket, which is replaceable, like that. Overall a good buy.Honest reviews on Nuvo Lighting SF76/646 1-Light PAR20 Landscape Flood Light, Dark
I wish it were a bit deeper. The glass shield for weatherproofing does not allow a par 20 CFL bulb. I popped out the glass shield to make it work. Light is installed in a soffit and points downward at some landscaping, so being weatherproof/waterproof really didn't matter for my purposes. After popping out the glass, much to my chagrin, the bulb still wouldn't fit. Had to grind down the metal flange that held the glass in place to get the little visor to clear the bulb. Used a Dremel with a little grinding wheel. Not a big deal for me because I had the Dremel, but if you don't, well... no CFL bulb. Also would be nice if it came in white. I sprayed mine white with rustoleum before installation to match my soffit.
5 star if it didn't have these two issues.
Oh, incidentally, the larger par38 version has exactly the same issues. Not deep enough for CFL flood and not available in white, at least when I bought mine in fall 2012. I did same thing with one of those that I bought for my driveway area. Pop out the glass, grind the flange on the visor, and spray painted. More work than most people would want, but I'm stubborn and I renovate homes for a living, so it wasn't a big deal. I have to alter things all the time.
