Purchased this bulb for a small refrigerator where the old one was brown on the ends. The person who replaced that bulb said it was like that since the beginning and thought it was normal, since it was a fridge. I thought that was unacceptable. I bought this bulb and put it in the fridge. It has been in there now since I received it. No brown ends. Bulb works great. No problems what so ever.
