I have several booklights and this one wins for the thought put into the design and the features.

The issues I have with most book lights is that they might work well clipped to a book or they have an awkward size..

This booklight will sit on a flat surface or you can clip it to a book. Okay so other booklights can do that. But this also folds up to a perfect size to put into your pocket or leave clipped to a book.

The arm and the light itself can be adjusted and will hold position. Since it uses AAA batteries and not those camera/hearing aid style you can quickly buy batteries while on the move.

The range of light and the fact that it has adjustable brightness make this perfect for travel or in bed.

For the price you really can't complain about any shortcomings..

THe light is very bright when it works. I have to hold it to get it to come on-putting pressure on the battery. Sometime it will stay on for a few minutes after I take my hand off, but usually not for long.It is awkward to hold the light and the book too, so I do not use it very often. That is a shame because it does a good job of providing adequate light to read by.

I love Kikkerland products, and this is no exception. The light is very bright and the brightness can be adjusted. However, I feel like the neck of the lamp is not long enough and so that's the only downside I found from it. Still it was a great purchase, and I plan to use it for many more years. :)

I really like this LED Book Light. It has adjustable light output and very bright on the highest setting. Nicely made with wide range of adjustment on locating the light itself. It uses 3 AAA batteries and should have decent battery life. I actually don't use it for reading but to light a home thermostat. I attached it to the thermostat because at night we don't have a light that readily allows reading the thermostat setting. This light works great for that as I can turn it on in the dark and because I could move the arm and rotate the light, it makes it easily viewable. I've also found a few other uses for this light as the arm flexibilty and rotation of the light will make it very useful for lighting stuff that is in out of the way places or places that aren't readily viewable and will save me the trouble of finding a flashlight.

Given the excellent design, great light output and flexibility, this LED Book light is a very good value.

Enough is enough ! One reviewer complains you need to wake up to turn this light off ! Another complains it is too bright and of getting a headache when looking into the light ! (Duh !) It is probably the best reading light of all. I tried a solar powered reading light that needed to be re-"charged" after about 30 min..., also a USB charged one that lit only a small dot on the page and broke the first day.. This one is bright (!) and is small enough, about the size of one of those small boxes of matches. I use it with my beloved Kindle Keyboard. The light has a STRONG clip on it so I clip it on to the case that protects my Kindle and I read ! It uses 3 AAA batteries which LAST, then I recharge them. I have the white version of the light which is aesthetically beautiful.
