I bought this lamp for my son's desk where he does his high school homework. It was a great upgrade from the previous lamp which he found too harsh and glaring. This lamp lets him select color temperature and brightness and gives perfect lighting on his desk at all times. He seems to be so much more efficient in doing his homework now and tells me almost every day how much he loves this lamp! I will almost certainly be buying another.
