The light functions just as advertised. I placed an acrylic statue on it and just as expected, the piece came to life. The downside is that the light is plain white plastic and looks cheap. I have been contemplating how to disguise it since it first went into place. Like a Yugo, it does exactly what is should do, but it's ugly.

These lights are amazing. We used them in our centerpieces at our wedding (we got married at a glass museum) and we put different large pieces of glass on each table. This light was so nice. I used this under a centerpiece to up-light. Got a lot of ooohs and ahhs. Adds an unusual effect to your tablescape.
