Before Buying, I read the reviews, and based my decision on them. The other reviews were dead on. Here are my thoughts:
1. It is a nice white light, which is just bright enough to keep you from needing to turn on the light in the bathroom at night.
2. The light sensor works great. The lights (there are 2) on the outlet dim as it senses other lights. All in all, very fancy.
3. Keep in mind that many outlets have a hot line in (line) and the wiring to the next outlet down the chain (load). Reversing these connections with cause issues. Make sure you are comfortable with handling house wiring before you purchase this. If you are not, consider a licensed electrician. You will pay handsomely to have someone else install this.
4. I am not sure, but I'd swear the "slim" line from Leviton is a wider outlet. I have a mix of normal and "slim" GFCI outlets, and they just seems fatter, which makes stuffing them into narrower boxes challenging. In fact, I think getting the outlet to look straight, level and flush is the biggest time-suck when installing these.
5. LASTLY, the "all is well" light on Levitons GFCIs are generally green. Not on this outlet, it is white. In fact, it matches the white "night lights" in the GFCI perfectly. Not a problem for me, but it would not match many of the other Leviton brand GFCIs if they happened to be within eye-shot of eachother.

Saw this on This Old House.I've been quite pleased about it.
You keep both outlets and get the night light and GFCI.
I only wish that I could get non-GFCI versions.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine ProgramThe lowly simple GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet, how could it possibly be improved? Well Leviton has figured out how to make it just that little bit better, an internal LED light. I love this little light that turns on when it gets dark and turns off when the lights are on in the room.
The flicker of the light in the video is a video artifact the light does not flicker at all in real life.
Basics are all there; this is a good solid standard Leviton GFCI outlet. This is the type of outlet that has to be installed near sinks or other wet areas, so it is found frequently in bathrooms. The outlet is classic, it has the big white test button that activates the circuit shut off and a reset button underneath it. The outlets are vertical (this one replaces an older GFCI with horizontal outlets). The white blends in nicely with all the other pure white Leviton switches.
The outlet does not come with a face plate. Any standard Decora rectangular plate will work. This is not the new Leviton extra large crazy snap system, but the old classic Decora size. The outlet installs exactly like any other outlet. These tend to be a bit thicker than standard non-GFCI outlets. Leviton claims it is not as deep as competitors, I didn't notice a difference. The hot and white terminals are on opposite sides of the outlet. There are two additional terminals to extend the outlet to another standard outlet (it is not very common to use this type of extension see comments). The screw terminals have a nice plastic separator at the bottom. I like this feature; it just makes it easier to line up the wire in the terminal.
The genius of this outlet is that darn little LED night light. The light is supposed to use only 1 Watt of electricity (given LED's and the amount of light this puts out, I believe the small amount of electricity). When the room is dim, the light comes on automatically. The cool thing, it not only serves as a night light, it lights up the outlet slots, so it is easy to plug something in. The light cast is a cool pure white, maybe a bit on the blue side. It is about the equivalent of a 20 watt night light. When the lights come on, either from daylight or the room lights were turned on, the night light turns off. There is a small white pilot light in the lower right hand corner of the outlet. This is nice to show that the GFCI isn't tripped and there is power to the outlet.
Now I wish every hotel in the country would buy these outlets. There is nothing worse than trying to find the bathroom in the middle of the night, and this is exactly the right amount of light to find my way.
Leviton has improved the lowly GFCI outlet. I really like this outlet a lot.

I put two of these in our bathrooms. As with all GFCI outlets care must be taken when wiring the receptacle. It will be obvious that the receptacle is wired correctly. When the power is turned back on and the room is darkened. The LED should come on. If not the wiring is incorrect. The two LEDs are bright enough to illuminate the bathroom vanity top I can see the sink and faucet handles. I would describe the light emitted as more of a glow. It has a pleasant bluish hue that is not hard on the eyes. The LEDs will go out when enough light is detected (sunlight of the lights being turned on), and come on again when the room is dark.
I wish I had found these years ago. I also wish Leviton would make a non-GFCI version of this receptacle (with two outlets).
