Sylvania has discontinued this lamp, and replaced with a 60 watt model that is almost, but not quite as bright, and has a slightly different color temperature. The Amazon listing says 75W, 1000 lumens, 3000K. The bulbs received are 60W, 910 lumens, 2950K. It's close enough that I kept the bulbs, and the seller I chose was nice enough to give me a discount to keep me happy. But Amazon needs to update the listing to reflect what is actually being shipped.

Even though these are labeled "long neck", they are more of a medium neck. They are bright enough but they would be better if they had a little bit longer neck. With a shallow light can my overhead light were always sticking out and my kitchen cabinets were scraping the lights every time we opened the door. This light is much shallower than the GE lights we got from the hardware store. These things are heavy duty. The thickness of all the components makes them so there is almost no "buzz" like my regular lights do when dimmed. I have been replacing all of my basement can lights with these. I can watch a movie with the lights dimmed way down without the buzz. They are a little expensive but mine have lasted on average of 3 years.
