The description says its 200 lumens but it feels weak to me.

The box it came with has no instructions, was hoping there was a way to switch to high. ( I did find a SOS mode).

Again, no mention of this in the box. I did not buy this light because it was cheap, would have paid 10x as much if it was a lot stronger.

I dont know why people cant make a powerful light for the cap. guess i will give this away and keep looking for a better light.

LOL I would like to know if this thing has a brand name and model so i can look up details. guess its not good enough for a band name?

Update: I ordered a different cap light and it was even weaker then this one. If someone out there knows of a powerful cap light please let me know thanks

Update 2, this light is starting to grow on me. I tried other lights since i first reviewed this and found the other lights for the cap to be a LOT worse.

It may look a little flimsy but it has held up well. I use it five nights a week on average about 5 hours each night. fresh batteries last the full five days, rechargeable a day and a half.

Over all I am impressed with its zoom quality, a great help in my evening work.

this flashlight has very low fragile plastic quality and has cheap build. it doesn't fit on any cap. even it's not that bright. I don't recommend it to anybody.

As I already own a headlamp with a "160 lumen high intensity CREE bulb" (also bought here on Amazon), I thought this would be a perfect addition when I wanted to have a light on a ball cap. My headlamp with 160 lumens looks twice as bright as this 200 lumen headlamp. Whereas my older headlamp has the zoom feature as a slide function (which works great), the rotate zoom feature on this headlamp works okay at best. Sometimes it works great, other times you kind of just have to keep spinning it until it starts changing (definitely not the "speed focus" as advertised).

As advertised I would never let it "be a guide when you take cycle at night" as no way it's "as bright as a spotlight". It does work well for walking in the dark, and for lighting up "hands on" work right in front of you. I still gave it four stars as this is exactly all I bought this light for.

If you want a "bright" headlamp, you'll likely be disappointed if you buy this one.
