The one I received has a purple butterfly, a pink and a green flower. The flowers have fiber optic "stems" and the butterfly does as well. There is also a spray of fiber optic pieces behind the flowers and butterfly. I put it in the bathroom and it gives off a mild light. The base where the fiber optic pieces are give off the most light and the tips give of a glowing white light. It also has an on off switch. I do think it would have been prettier if the tips changed colors, but I can see how that might not have been as effective as a nightlight.

My husband and I love fiber optic lights so I ordered this originally for our bedroom, unfortunetly it doesn't change color and isn't very bright, I was a little dissapointed for that reason, but it does make a good night light in the bathroom. It is very durable..
