I bought 4 of these bulbs for my new range hood. They're a little longer than the hood expected so they stick out about half an inch, kinda look like rocket engines. They cast a bright 'daylight' light which is good for cooking. The bulbs I received flickered when I tried the dimmable setting, though. The seller was very proactive and emailed me to make sure I was satisfied which I thought was great customer service. When I mentioned the flickering they apologized and offered to replace the bulbs, or to give me a discount on this existing bulbs. I decided to keep the original bulbs and only use them at full brightness.these bulbs are the best.the dimming fetureworks great . these bulbs give off great lighting in all moods of the dimmer setting.im going to order more.
