Amazon states "Dimmable" under Special Features. IT'S NOT DIMMABLE. Also, like others had said, you have to hardwire to use it, not "plug and play".

could be cheaper and better. similar LED lamps in Ikea is sold for $30.00 except they are not wall mountable. finish is good for a bed room decor and light is warm. product itself is good, scope for potential improvement in mounting hardware.

The light seems excellent in every respect except two:

1) A metal tube extends about 6 inches out from base that does not bend. Probably no big deal if you want it for a desk light. If you put it over your bed, though, it may restrict the angle of illumination to certain areas.

2) There is no pin-up kit (i.e., it can't be plugged into the wall...it must be hardwired).

I like this LED light over my bed. It has a smaller footprint that the wall mounted incandescent light that I previously used. The beam spreads just the right amount to cover two pages of a book. I call it quirky because the design is unique. The gooseneck and flared base and light shade seem life like.
